Kate Bosworth was out in force this week at a couple of premiere screenings of some weird Asian samurai movie she is in (well...at least she's working) we couldn't help but think what a waste of those gorgeous dresses considering the rather low rent nature of screenings in question. Bosworth's career is travelling in the opposite direction to her wardrobe. However, you can't deny the girl has exceptional taste in clothes (or exceptional taste in stylists). It's nice to see that stars have clothing patterns that reflect the way the rest of us dress in real life. They may have access to all the clothes in the world but what sets the very stylish apart from the very styled is actually dressing the same way a lot of the time. Granted, when we do it it's wearing the same American Apparel t-shirt with everything in every colour and with Kate Bosworth it's extremely expensive dresses and perfect hair, but it makes us think that these are the girls who are definitely dressing themselves. For Kate it's very delicate and demure dresses, Chung seems to be comfiest in shorts and Lou Doillon is a fan of wearing a hat...
Rather impressed with her style recently. Sleeker, less Avril Lavigne and with a large number of envy-inducing handbags... Ryan Seacrest is like America's Simon - rich, arrogant, involved with pretty much every reality tv show in the US and constantly dodges gay rumours. Here he is with his 'girlfriend' Julianne Hough, the sister of Cheryl's Derek, in Paris, on a very public shopping trip. However, clearly he couldn't resist checking himself out in the store mirrors. See, he's vain like Cowell too. Another week and another action packed show. Cheryl did actually outdress Dannii this week, though Dannii looked very pretty. The Beatles was always going to be hard as those songs should just not be messed with but here's the review: Matt: Terrible vest, why didn't he dress properly? We heard he was shagging the stylist no?? Also his voice was weird, like he was trying to do something new. Not convinced. Cher: Dissapointed with her mediocre performance, although she does it like a rude girl, we do like it when she raps. This week was a bit dull. One Direction: J's fave of the night, but then she's TOTALLY biased now, they can't do anything wrong! Dannii was a bit of a cow to them, how can she be mean to their lovely innocent faces?? Rebecca: She is undoubtedly talented and lovely, but she's yet to deliver a completely knock out performance, it's always the same. Mary: She was so so much better this week but is so boring! Paije: Surprisingly good. And today J discovered he went to school in Chiswick, so we like him a little more now. Wagner: Pleeeeeease go, he makes JAM feel a bit sick. However, Cheryl was a dick for bringing up that press comment, she must have known he was misquoted, she just did it for attention and even more compliments. Katie: Why anyone would do that to their hair is beyond J, it makes her chin look even bigger now. But her song was good. Wouldn't it be great if she wasn't in the bottom two this week? J has a feeling she won't be.... We get that she's posh, and now practically royal, but JAM does not believe that is code for boring and dowdy. Now we're not expecting her to be wearing leather shorts and studded jackets, but she can embrace fantastic tailoring, beautiful prints and classic tea dresses to match that beautiful face and figure of hers. Kate needs to think about all the beautiful British designers like Mulberry, Burberry, Stella McCartney, Temperly... we're dribbling at the thought of it. Now there are glimpses of style: And then there are these that make us recoil... These are just a few examples of outfits that Kate could wear - smart, classic, stylish, sassy, subtle. OK, here's a summary of last night. Overall, it was OK... there were a lot of good Elton songs missing and until Cher came on it was all quite dull. Top 3: Cher, Rebecca and of course, One Direction! Cheryl wore a fabulous dress, Louis was a wally and Simon was mean. Here we go: Paije: Simon's right, he defs won't win, his performance was mediocre. Mary: Getting bored of her, predictable performance. Katie: Getting desperate, average voice, average performance Aiden: Again, it was OK, not amazing, just OK. Matt: he's so good, but J was not 'wowed'. So, as you can see, J was not over impressed at this point, until... Cher: Just great, she's so the most exciting to watch. And again, her make up is so great, she looks pretty and not like a scrubber. Wagner: HAS TO GO, HE CANNOT SING, DANCE, ANYTHING One Direction: Once again, J was charmed. Harry should sing more too. Rebecca: Lovely. So, not the best show ever, but cannot wait for JLS tonight!! We love X Factor drama, but not this sort of drama! If the X Factor is fixed, we don't want to know about it! But then again, this is just sad people making a mountain out of a mole hill, just like Gamu-gate. Who cares if Treyc went out and Katie stayed in, Treyc was just so dull. And also, lets not forget, at the end of the day this is an entertainment show, as long as it keeps us all interested J couldn't care less if it's set up. J cares more to see if they'll address it on Saturday's show, will Simon have a rant? Probably. Will Cheryl apologise? No way. Will Louis make a crap joke about it? Defs. |
